Critical Care Unit Nurse Manager / Registered Nurse / RN CCU ICU Location: Juneau, AK Description: Caffrey Medical Logistics - Critical Care Unit Nurse Manager / Registered Nurse / RN CCU ICU Job located - Juneau, Alaska USA DATE POSITION TITLE JOB# 09 / 26 / 2009 Critical Care Unit Nurse Manager / Registered Nurse / RN CCU ICU 27251891 Job Description: Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the delivery of patient care and all nursing activities for assigned units. Maximizes resource utilization and achieves organizational objectives through continuous improvement and process evaluation for cost effective care and quality clinical outcomes. Ensures compliance with established organizational, professional and accreditation standards and state / federal laws and regulations. WORKERS SUPERVISED: Clinical Nurse (RN), LPN, Ward Clerk and other non-professional staff assigned to the unit. Job Experience: 5+ to 7 years MINIMUM EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS: Education / License: Graduation from an accredited School of nursing. BSN preferred; master's degree desired. Current State of Alaska RN license. Experience / Skills / Abilities: Minimum 5 years current acute care nursing experience; minimum 1 year in supervisory / management position. Ability to effectively interface with a wide variety of people and to provide excellent customer service. Proven leadership and communication skills. Requires research, development and implementation skills. Well organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Basic personal computer skills required.
