Ability to adapt to changes in schedules, assignments and workloads. 7. Ability to maintain the confidentiality of patient information. 8. Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, managers and other staff in a professional manner to promote effective teambuilding. D.  Specific Job Duties and Responsibilities 1. Prepares exam rooms and equipment to facilitate examination and treatment of patients by setting up instruments/equipment. 2. Interviews patients, measures vital signs and records information on patients’ charts. 3. Assists physicians to facilitate patient treatment by retrieving tests and medical records and obtaining lab work as directed. 4. Inventories and orders medical supplies and materials. 5. Provides telephone triage to respond to patient needs by recording and reporting patient condition to physician and advising patient based on physician instructions. 6. Answers incoming phone calls, schedules appointments. 7. Communicates by phone with pharmacies in connection with medication orders, refills or questions. 8. Greets patients and visitors. 9.
