* Baths include the washing of hair unless the resident has a beauty shop appointmen or has just had an appointment
* Trims finger/toe nails of all residents who are NOT DIABETIC. Document
* Cleans under the nails of the residents. Use nailbrush if necessary.
* Redresses resident after bath.
Assess the skin of all residents during the bathing process and reports any bruises, open areas, rashes, or other supect areas.
*Documents the baths
*Weighs each resident on bath day or more often if instructed by the unit coordinator, charge nurse or supervisor
* Document resident weights and re-weigh resident if th scale indicates a 5-pound loss or gain since the previous weight
* Assures that any resident that has a skin condition is bathed last on any given day
*Maintains supplies for bathing area
* Work on floor as CNA when required by nursing schedule
Physical Qualifications:
While preforming the duties of this position the employee must demonstrate the ability to lift fifty (50) pounds, walk, run, bend, stoop, reach, lift, push, pull, twist, crouch, crawl, balance, and climb.
