BLS and NRP certification, national certification in perinatal nursing and membership in relevant professional organization required.  Must possess current knowledge of evidence-based practice, including but not limited to, national standards and guidelines, principles and practice of safety science, regulatory requirements and current resources.  Participation in relevant professional development activities required.  Must demonstrate a high degree of independence, decision-making and possess excellent critical thinking skills.
