Job Title: Clinical Nurse Specialist - NICU Company: Providence Portland Medical Center Location: Portland, OR Description: Functions collaboratively with the Nurse Manager of the Level III NICU to promote optimal cost effective patient care and to develop and support professional nursing staff. Primary responsibilities include: 1) The demonstration of skill, expertise and current knowledge of the nursing process and with problem solving ability in planning interventions for patients and families within the NICU. 2) Demonstrates the ability to accomplish goals and outcomes. Required: MSN as an Advance Practice Nurse in neonatal nursing. Current NICU CNS experience. Appropriate clinical experience in nursing. Preferred: Certification in specialty.
