This 50 bed department focuses on medical and oncology patients. Patient diagnoses include pulmonary, gastrointestinal, renal and oncology. The incumbent is expected to achieve department and organizational goals while ensuring optimal outcomes for designated patient populations within the approved operating budget. This role will also serve as the liaison with the contracted dialysis department. The director will work to establish productive working relationships with physicians in their areas and promote employee engagement with all associates.
