Job Title: Director of Nursing; Home Care Company: Angelic Home Care, Inc Location: Concord, NC Description: Start up Home Care Agency in Concord is looking to fill the position of Director of Nursing. This position will be responsible for helping to document the policies and procedures required by the state of NC and if hired, will be required to attend a one day licensing training seminar in Raleigh unless this requirement has been previously met. The Director will conduct initial assessments in clients home and develop the plan of care. The Director will supervise companions and CNAs and be responsible to ensure continuing education requirements are met. May be required to perform skilled nursing services as required (ex: filling pill boxes). The Director will work closely with the owner to ensure compliance with NC state and Dept of Labor regulations. Hours will be minimal at first and will grow to 30 or more per week. The Director must agree to be available by phone 24x7 unless other arrangements have been made and approved. Experience in Home Health Care is a requirement and the ability to supervise, motivate and train other employees is a must.
