Services include an award-winning 24-hour emergency department, family birth center, inpatient and outpatient surgery, including joint replacement, a variety of diagnostic and outpatient services and over 300 physicians serving patients. We have a full-time opportunity for a Registered Nurse Anesthetist to work rotating assignments between St. Joseph Mercy Livingston Hospital in Howell, which has three operating rooms that perform inpatient and outpatient surgeries.  Primary procedures there are Ortho, Podiatry, Gyn, Urology, General Surgery, ENT and C-Sections; and St. Joseph Mercy Woodland Health Center in Brighton, which has three operating rooms for outpatient procedures.  Primary procedures here are Cataract, Ortho, Gyn, General Surgery, ENT, Podiatry for both Adults and Children. Our inpatient and outpatient surgical suites are equipped with the most advanced surgical and patient monitoring technology.  As a member of our highly skilled team, you'll provide individualized patient-centered and compassionate care in an environment of cutting edge technology and resources. SUMMARY   Under the medical direction of an Anesthesiologist, develops anesthesia plans for patients and administers anesthesia.  Observes patients' physiological condition while under anesthesia and initiates corrective actions as necessary or as directed by physician.  Performs pre- and post- operative evaluations on assigned cases, and documents same in patient charts and required records.   The schulede Monday to Friday, eight hour shifts (or until scheduled cases are completed).  Call is required five days per month, including every sixth weekend.     Those with Ambulatory Surgery and Pediatric Surgery experience are encouraged to apply though new graduates will be considered.    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE   Requires a bachelor's degree in Nursing.  Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Anesthesiology.   No previous experience required.   Current Registered Nurse and Nurse Specialty License in State of Michigan.  Annual BLS recertification       Howell, MI https://www.healthcaresource.com/thstjosephannarbor/index.cfm?fuseaction=search.jobDetails&template=dsp_job_details.cfm&cJobId=205781 http://wrapguy.careercast.com/textjobs/jobs/sjmhs_mlive/job0 Register to View ac.html
