Major Duties: The RN possesses the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively apply all aspects of the nursing process within a collaborative, interdisciplinary practice setting.  This broad based clinical knowledge enable the RN to effectively implement health promotion and prevention interventions, manage acute and chronic illness states, assist patient/clients in the attainment of optimal levels of functioning through rehabilitation and provide supportive measure for the dying patient and their significant others.Qualifications: 1.       Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by a state and accredited by either the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).  2.       An active, current, full and unrestricted RN license in a State, Territories, and possessions of the United States, the District of Columbia, and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico . 3.       RN, BSN preferred. 4.       BCLS required. 5.       Academic course work in management preferred. Years of experience: 1.       Two years of successful management experience preferred. 2.       Three years of current successful med/surg, emergency/urgent care, or OPD clinical experience required. Administrative and Clinical Experience: (1)      Committee membership (2)      Contribution to performance appraisals. (3)      Participation in Performance Improvement activities.
