Operates all radiographic equipment that the department is responsible for.Helps the physicians in the performance of examinations by handling films, changing cassettes for them, moving the patient for proper positioning, or assisting with barium.Selects and loads proper film cassettes, provides proper radiation protection for each patient, and provides patient comfort by covering with blankets or additional covering.Records any pertinent patient history on the examination request so that the information is available for the radiologist in his interpretation of the examination.Greet and prepare patients for the practitioner.
