Caregiver / CNA Full-Time (Urbana, MD)

Are you a compassionate, skilled caregiver or CNA who takes pride in delivering exceptional care? Comfort Keepers is looking for a dedicated professional to join our team in Urbana, Maryland , supporting a wheelchair-bound client with complex care needs.

• Start Date: Early August ( Immediate hiring with paid training )

• Location: Urbana, Maryland

• Employment Type: Full-Time

• Schedule: Daytime-only shifts (No evenings or weekends required)

• Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience + benefits

You’ll be providing one-on-one, hands-on care for a client living with mobility limitations. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with strong clinical caregiving skills and a heart for enhancing quality of life through proactive and preventative care.

• Deliver heavy personal care , including bathing, toileting, and incontinence care

• Operate and assist with Hoyer lift transfers safely and effectively

• Support enteral nutrition (tube feeding) under provided care plans

• Monitor and support all aspects of preventative care and skin integrity

• Foster a safe, clean, and supportive environment for a wheelchair-bound individual

• Communicate and document changes in condition clearly and professionally

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or equivalent caregiving experience required

• Experience with ALS or neurodegenerative conditions is preferred but not required

• Proficient in Hoyer lift use, enteral feeding, and comprehensive personal care

• Must be dog-friendly – there is a friendly pet in the home

• Must have a reliable personal vehicle and valid driver’s license

• Reliable, compassionate, and attentive to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a care team
