Medical Surgical Unit - Licensed Vocational Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

9 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license (required after submission).

This role will require floating to multiple units

Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

No block scheduling requests.

Must be able to start within 4-5 weeks to apply

Must have at least 9 months of same unit experience in the past 12 months, no exceptions.

This is an Auto Offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be facilitated upon request. This request should be made upon submission.

Documentation system: Expanse as of 7/10

Scheduling requirements: 3 12s/ week 7-7, every other weekend. No blocked scheduling. No specific days guaranteed

Floating policy: C/L floats first to care for similar patient population.

Patient Experience requirements: Must meet patient needs timely, professionally, and with empathy. Any deviations from the highest level of nursing care will not be accepted.

Dress Code: (Required uniform)

Navy Blue Scrubs can wear approved HCA/unit apparel (Team T-Shirts)

New charting system Expanse! A wide range of staff experience from 25 years to new grad on unit.

10 days maximum time off

1 reference from last 12 months (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission
