Nurse Manager - Surgery

Responsible for direction of patient care in the operative environment. Manages surgery staff members in the Surgery Department. Consults with staff, physicians, Director of Nursing and Vice President of Ancillary Services on nursing issues and interpretation of hospital policies to ensure patient needs are met. Maintains performance improvement activities within the department and participates in quality improvement initiatives. Formulates budget for department.

• Current Registered Nurse licensure in State of Ohio.
• Current BLS & PALS certifications.
• Current ACLS or Basic EKG or Arrhythmia-identification certification.
• Three or more years of previous surgery or applicable experience.
