Intensive Care Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Experience:

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Hawaii license (required for submission).

This role will require floating to multiple units

Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

This position must be open to work any shits no exceptions

Provide care and meet the individualized age appropriate needs of the pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient population in the ICU/CCU

The ICU/CCU provides services for surgical patients or patients with serious respiratory and/or cardiac conditions requiring the specialized services of the ICU/CCU.

After hour PACU recovery

Emergency room experience recommended.

The Unit orientation with nurse manager 1-2 day shift then 1-2 night shifts with staff RN, orientation/competency binder to be completed.

Float to OB, MS, PACU and ER to assist according to the individuals competency level

7 days maximum time off

1 reference from last 12 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission

Certifications:

BLS (Basic Life Support)

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
