Fauquier HealthAs Endoscopy Department, also known as Outpatient Special Procedures, consists of 3 procedure rooms and offers a wide range of GI services.

A Registered Nurse who excels in this role:A

• Cross-trains to cover both Endoscopy and Outpatient Infusion Center

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needsA

• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventionsA

• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patientA

• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical recordA

• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patientA

Qualifications:

What weAre looking for
Applicants should have a current Virginia state or compact state RN license (for compact licensure, Virginia licensure must be obtained within 60 days of hire).

• Basic Life Support certification is required within 7 days of hire.A

• ACLS is required within 30 days of hire.A A

• BachelorAs degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.

• Previous Endoscopy experience preferred.
