Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified MedSurg/Tele Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid New York State nursing license to join our team. As an RN in the MedSurg/Telemetry unit, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to patients with diverse medical needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced MedSurg and Telemetry environment.
- Monitor and assess patient health, manage dysrhythmias, and utilize rapid response teams as necessary.
- Maintain a patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:7.
- Administer medications, treatments, and perform necessary medical procedures.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and more.
- Maintain precise and timely charting using the Epic electronic health record system.

Qualifications:
- Must possess an active New York State nursing license.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in acute care settings.
- Proficient in Epic charting system.
- Experience in managing patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:7.
- Must be available to work every other weekend and comply with holiday requirements.

- Daily Census: Approximately 21 patients
- Interdisciplinary Support includes IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and more.

Additional Information:
- First-time travelers are welcome. Local candidates (within a 75-mile radius) are not accepted for this position.
- Orientation will consist of 36 hours with the schedule to be determined prior to start.
- Candidates are required to float as needed within the unit.
