Suburban Hospital is a 228-bed, community-based, not-for-profit hospital that has served Montgomery County and the surrounding area since 1943. It is the designated trauma center for Montgomery County, is fully accredited by The Joint Commission, and offers complex and routine care for various specialties.
Position details:
The Critical Care Resource Nurse will work within the Rapid Response Team, a multidisciplinary team available 24 hours a day to respond, assess, and treat a patient whose condition is deteriorating. The goal of the Rapid Response Team is to provide early intervention to improve patient outcomes.
The Critical Care Resource Nurse is an experienced ACLS-certified critical care RN who provides clinical expertise, advanced assessment skills, and patient and nursing staff support.
Schedule:
- Part Time, 24 hours per week, eligible for all benefits except dependent child tuition assistance and paid parental leave
- Night Shift
To succeed in this role, you will need the following:
- BSN required; MSN preferred.
- Current licensure as an RN in the state of Maryland or compact state
- Current ACLS/BLS CPR & NIHSS Certification required
- CCRN Board-Certification required within 9 months. CEN Certification a plus.
- SCRN Certification within 1 year of hire
- Code Blue/ Rapid Response Team experience preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of critical care experience as a RN
