Experience:

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license (required for submission).

This role will require floating to multiple locations

Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >80 miles from facility to be submitted.

Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.

Additional Details:

Neurology- Med Surg

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.

Day/Night Rotation. Every other weekend and holiday. On call on Stroke unit is very rare.

MUST note in submission if clinician has ever worked for Sanford Health. If clinician previously worked with Sanford, they must have an end date 6 months prior to their submission date.

2 years minimum med-surg or stroke/neuro experience preferred.

Stroke/Neuro unit is similar to any general med-surg unit. We also get some surgical patients and a variety of acute care patients when we have beds available-not taken by stroke/neuro patients. You would be assigned to a preceptor for about a week to familiarize you with where to find things on the unit, unit processes, routines,

7 days maximum time off

1 reference from last 12 months (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission

1 reference from last 3 years (Any reference type) - required for submission

Driver's license required for submission

Certifications:

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)

BLS (Basic Life Support)
