Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Travel experience is required from any number of months.
Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
Trauma Level 3 experience is required from any number of months
Requirements:
Candidates must have a Idaho license or compact license (required for submission).
This role may require floating to additional units and locations
Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.
Additional Details:
Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
Shift & Scheduling :
Scheduling tech to assist with scheduling. Traveler to fill in gaps, and be flexible, will consider block scheduling if works with unit needs.
Orientation Hours 24 Hours; 2 on the unit
Weekend Requirements: Usually every other weekend, could be less depending on need.
Holiday Requirements: Yes, as needed.
On call requirement: None, possibility for extra shifts
Float Requirement : Floating between ICU- PCU patients within the unit.
Skills Required : Thermaguard/Zoll- cooling experience with TTM
RNs are required to titrate drips.
RN to be comfortable reading and interpreting tele.
Travelers do not get specialty patients:
vented, cardiac- post PCI, impella, IABP, stroke- TNK, Targeted temperature management (TTM) - with Zoll cooling/thermoguard, vascular, (NO CV surgical), traumas, EtOH, sepsis, OD, some abdominal trauma and surgical, CRRT etc.
ICU Experience - Preferred
7 days maximum time off
1 reference from last 12 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
1 reference from last 3 years (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission
Driver's license required for submission
Certifications:
BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
