Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
12 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
Travel experience is required from any number of months.
Experience with Epic is required from last 2 years.
Requirements:
Candidates must have a Vermont license or compact license (required after submission).
This role may require floating to additional units and locations

Shift & Scheduling:
Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend
Monday - Sunday
No block schedules for any reason
On-Call: 2 12 hour shifts in a rolling 4 week timeframe
Travelers must work 2 out of the 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Years Day.
Required Skills / Experience: RNs must have LDRP experience including independence in a LDRP, including all aspects of care and experience in a community hospital environment that does not have NICU resources on sight
Unit will also take M/S overflow
Experience as a baby nurse at delivery, initiating/being a part of neonatal resuscitations, assigning APGAR scores, and giving newborn medications post-delivery
Technology Used on Unit: Epic experience from within the past 2 years is required and nonnegotiable
Unit Details:
Patient Ratio: Active Labor or on Pitocin 1/1, Couplets - 1/2 or 1/3, (1/4 or 1/6) patients depending on census/acuity
Patient Population: Labor, Delivery, Newborn, Postpartum Occasional Med/Surg Overflow, Traige Age Range: All
Others: Assignment for 16-32 weeks
Bi-weekly orientations on Monday, next available is 9/29
Public Transportation is not accessible in this area, please ensure you have reliable transportation, personal vehicle or rental vehicle are strongly recommended
Vehicles should be equipped with all season or snow tires during the months of November April
Orientation: Typically 3 12 hours shifts
