Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Experience:

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required, with some of it within the last 6 months.

3 months of travel experience is required from last 12 months.

Experience with Epic is required from last 12 months.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).

This role will require floating to multiple units

COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

The facility is not accepting new travelers. Submissions must have completed at least one travel contract.

Special Requests: No blocked scheduling allowed

Required Skills/Experience: Must have previously worked a night shift within the last year

Shift & Scheduling: Weekends/holidays: rotate every other

Travelers must attend meetings every other month. Schedule to be provided

Floating Requirements: To alike units, based on census - Orthopedics and PCU

Unit Details:

Med/Surg-Oncology 37-bed unit; Medical admissions to the unit include patients with cancer, pneumonia, hypoxia, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, dehydration, deep vein thrombosis, infections, gastrointestinal disorders, pancreatitis, substance abuse, mental status changes; Surgical admissions include patients undergoing general, bariatric, vascular, urological, endoscopic, podiatric, ear, nose, and throat surgical procedures
