Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Medical Surgical/Telemetry Unit experience is required.

3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).

This role will require floating to multiple units

Additional Details:

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend/Holiday rotation. No on call.

Floating Requirements: Float to Med/Surg if needed. May be floated to other units and tasked as an aid for additional support. Will know at beginning of each shift what floor they assigned to

Special Requests: No Block Schedule requests

Required Skills/Experience: Perform phlebotomy. Need to be able to read and interpret strips.

Required Credentials: Associate Degree or Certificate

Technology Used on Unit: Mandatory Meditech training must be done in compliance.

9 days maximum time off

1 reference from last 3 years (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission

1 reference from last 12 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

BLS (Basic Life Support)

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
