Assistant Nurse Manager Acute Care

We Are Hiring Location: Manhattan, KS Facility: Ascension Via Christi Department/Specialty: Acute Care Services Schedule: Dayshift l Full-time What You Will Do Direct daily operations and provide high-level oversight to ensure seamless, high-quality patient care. Assess and optimize patient access and flow, ensuring staffing levels meet real-time clinical needs. Strategically delegate tasks based on staff core competencies while monitoring performance. Partner with senior leadership to refine protocols and ensure team alignment. Lead quality improvement initiatives and auditing projects to proactively identify and close gaps in care. Drive the full lifecycle of staff success, including, hiring, onboarding, development, and evaluation. What You Will Need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Education: Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
