The Certified Medical Assistant supports patient care by taking vital signs, performing basic tests, and keeping accurate records. They also help the medical team stay organized by managing supplies and preparing clients for appointments. Employees receive benefits that include: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Basic life insurance 401(k) Option Paid holidays PTO after 90 Days Additional Information: Schedule: Full-time, 4 -10 hour shifts, day shift with start times varying as needed Work Environment: On-site Travel Requirements: Some may be needed to assist when Medical staffing is low Physical Requirements: Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation Ability to perform duties in a clinical setting, including standing, walking, and moving between work areas for extended periods Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25-50 pounds Ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and coordination Ability to communicate effectively and observe patient conditions Key Responsibilities: Patient Care & Monitoring: Perform vital signs, withdrawal assessments, CLIA-waived testing, and communicate/document client status Clinical Operations: Maintain clean medical rooms, accurate records, and support overall medical workflow Medication & Client Support: Prepare vitamin boxes, fulfill hygiene needs, and assist with client care tasks Coordination & Administration: Gather documents for appointments, assist with tracking, and support scheduling needs Inventory & Compliance: Monitor and maintain supplies (first aid, hygiene, OTC) and support compliance with clinical standards Requirements Required Qualifications: Licensure & Certification: Current, valid, and unrestricted CMA, SRNA, CNA, or equivalent credential (e.g., EMT, respiratory therapist); CPR certification required. Experience: 2+ years of relevant clinical experience preferred Behavioral Health Knowledge: Understanding of recovery, mental health, and co-occurring disorders, with experience in addiction treatment settings preferred Skills & Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced setting with strong crisis intervention and conflict resolution skills
