What are we looking for in a Director of Nursing?

The Director of Nursing leads the planning, coordination, and oversight of nursing services across the agency. This role is responsible for establishing consistent standards of care, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting a high-performing nursing workforce. By partnering with clinical and operational leaders, the Director ensures nursing services are effectively integrated, appropriately staffed, and aligned with organizational goals.

Primary Position Purpose: The Director of Nursing provides clinical and operational leadership for all nursing functions. This role ensures high-quality nursing practice that aligns with organizational strategy, regulatory standards and CHC’s mission and values. The position bridges clinical excellence with operational performance, guiding nursing strategy to ensure consistent standards, compliance, and integration across all service lines.

Schedule:

Monday- Friday 8AM-5PM

Pay:

$140,004.00 to $210,017.00 (Annual Salary)

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree (MSN, MHA, or related field) preferred

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State (or ability to obtain)

Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive nursing experience, including at least 3–5 years in a leadership role

Experience in behavioral health, inpatient, or multi-site healthcare environments strongly preferred
