The individual hired will exercise independent professional discretion based on licensure in general duty settings and clinical nursing settings for the Correctional Health Services Division. May also direct/supervise medical staff. Ideal Candidate Have strong supervisory and management skills Have the ability to coordinate clinical activities and follow-up. Have skill in directing staff assignments based on priority of care Have critical thinking skills in resolving clinical issues Understand triage principles and actions Be a positive motivator Have a solid understanding of principles, theories, and practices of nursing Have the ability to assess staffing needs and patterns; make appropriate staff assignments.
