Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is assisting our client hire a Medical Assistant in Beckley, West Virginia! This role is in person / on site. Please review the details below and reply with an updated resume.
Position Type: Two-month contract, opportunity for extension
Schedule: Monday through Friday - 7am to 5pm
Pay: $21.20 to $24.20 per hour, based on experience
Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant:
Rooming patients, taking vitals, weights, medications, medical history etc.
Assisting with the needs of our providers.
Maintains and reviews patient records, charts, and other pertinent information.
Ensure patient rooms are stocked, cleaned, orderly, and equipment is functioning properly.
Ensurepliance standards and participate in audits or inspections as needed.
Other duties as assigned by manager/supervisor.
Qualifications of the Medical Assistant:
High school graduate or GED equivalent
Active Medical Assistant certification
One year of medical assistant experience preferred
