**Responsibilities:**

- **Supervision and Safety:** Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, both indoors and outdoors. Supervise activities to maintain a secure environment and prevent accidents or injuries.

- **Daily Care:** Assist with daily routines such as meals, naps, toileting, and diaper changes while promoting hygiene and independence.

- **Educational Activities:** Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities and games that cater to the developmental needs of each child. Utilize creative teaching techniques to foster learning and curiosity.

- **Emotional Support:** Provide a warm, caring presence and offer emotional support to children. Help them develop social skills by encouraging positive interactions and resolving conflicts.

- **Communication:** Maintain open and effective communication with parents and guardians about their childs progress, daily activities, and any concerns. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to childcare.

- **Record Keeping:** Keep accurate records of childrens activities, attendance, and any notable incidents. Follow protocols for reporting and documentation as required by the academys policies.

- **Environment Maintenance:** Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting environment by setting up and tidying spaces before and after activities. Ensure that materials and resources are well-kept and replenished as needed.

- **Continuous Improvement:** Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

**Qualifications:**

- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; coursework in early childhood education or a related field is preferred.

- Previous experience in childcare or education is highly desirable.

- CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.

- Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with young children.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
