Hospice Aide / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Hospice

What Youll Do

Provide Compassionate Personal Care

  • Assist patients with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding)
  • Support patient comfort through repositioning, mobility assistance, and skin care
  • Assist with light housekeeping and maintaining a clean, safe environment
  • Provide respite support for caregivers when needed

Support Patient Comfort & Dignity

  • Observe and report changes in patient condition to the RN/Case Manager
  • Assist with basic vital signs and simple procedures as directed
  • Support comfort-focused care aligned with hospice philosophy
  • Respect patient and family preferences, routines, and environment

Communicate & Collaborate

  • Document care accurately and timely
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, families, and team members
  • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards

What You Bring

  • Completion of state-required CNA/Hospice Aide training (CNA certification if required by state)
  • Current CPR certification
  • Ability to read, follow instructions, and document care
  • Strong compassion and comfort working with end-of-life patients
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel between patient homes
  • A patient-first mindset with respect for dignity and quality of life
