This role is patient-facing and fast-paced; responsibilities may shift based on clinic needs and direction from leadership. What You'll Do (Back Office) Room patients and obtain/document vitals (height, weight, blood pressure, temperature) and chief complaint Notify provider when patient is ready to be seen Stock exam rooms each morning and clean/turn over rooms between patients Monitor and maintain medical supply inventory ; submit supply requisitions to prevent shortages Assist with additional tasks as assigned by supervisor/management What You'll Do (Front Office - As Needed) Scan/file paperwork daily; open and distribute mail Print next-day schedules; verify progress notes and superbills are attached Answer phones for multiple/closed clinic locations; page physician consults with complete details Schedule appointments for new/existing patients; provide directions to new patients Register patients; update demographics and copy key documents Collect co-pays and past-due balances at check-in/check-out Support billing processing, dictation/letters/physician orders, referrals, and medical records requests Prepare weekly travel chart; fax provider schedules for upcoming clinic day Obtain lab specimens as requested; complete lab requisitions and prep samples for pickup; document in the medical record Ensure superbills are completed at visit end (visit code, diagnoses, labs ordered) Order office supplies as needed Requirements 1+ year of clinical practice experience (office/clinic setting preferred) Comfortable performing back-office clinical responsibilities High school diploma/GED required Proof of current vaccinations (or verbal proof/declination accepted), including commonly required vaccines for immunocompromised patient environments: MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis A & B, Influenza, and COVID-19 (with recommended boosters) Apply For This Job
