Charge Nurse (2nd shift)

Pennybyrn has opportunities for Charges Nurses (RN or LPN) on 2nd shift to work within Skilled Nursing or Assisted Living. Positions available are PRN, Part-time, and Full-time.

Responsibilities of this position:

This position's schedule is 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm, Monday - Friday. This position is eligible for benefits and differentials! The Charge Nurse performs duties within the scope of practice as defined by the NC Nursing Practice Act. These duties include assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and reporting on patient plans of care within skilled nursing or short-term stay households, as well as promoting and modeling person-directed care within the mission and values of the organization.

Pay rate scale is based on experience.
LPNs: $26 - $30 per hour
RNs: $30 - $35 per hour

Shift Differentials:
$2.00 for Weekday 2nd and 3rd shifts
$1.50 for Weekend 1st shift
$3.50 for Weekend 2nd and 3rd shifts

Experience and Skills

QUALIFICATIONS

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Currently licensed as a Nurse in good standing with the North Carolina Board of Nursing.

Previous experience with geriatric residents preferred.

Good physical and mental health

Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time

Must be able to assist with lifting, turning, and positioning residents, in excess of 100 lbs.

Must be able to push and manipulate equipment, in excess of 50 lbs.
