Job Description:

Develops strategy to assess onboarding needs through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and consultation with managers. Directs the creation of instructional materials for onboarding, incorporating current trends and learning science. Benchmarks practices at best-in-class companies and integrates best practices into onboarding programs. Consistently assesses the training and development landscape to identify innovative approaches and benchmarks for success. Maintains professional knowledge of onboarding, learning science, and technology through research and professional development. Tracks onboarding materials needs and costs to ensure alignment with budget and resource stewardship. Develops metrics and tracking mechanisms to enhance programs and processes, build accountability, and measure results. Works directly with senior leaders on onboarding development strategies. Leads a matrix team to develop, execute, and manage new hire onboarding strategy system-wide, including clinical and non-clinical orientation. Partners with campuses and system functions to ensure continuous improvement and targeted development planning. Oversees the design and implementation of onboarding programming, ensuring alignment with organizational culture and role-specific requirements. Performs other duties as assigned.

Bachelor's [Required]

Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]

Doctorate [Preferred]

Master's [Required]

Field of Study:

in relevant discipline such as Nursing, Psychology, Education, Human or Organizational Development

in any of the above disciplines plus ten years progressive experience in organizational development-related field, and five years leading cross-functional teams

Doctoral degree in relevant discipline such as Nursing, Organizational Leadership, Training and Development, or Psychology

of Science in Nursing degree or equivalent

Work Experience:

Other leadership experience preferred, experience leading training and/or New Employee Onboarding programs; healthcare experience/ education [Preferred]

- 2 years of experience in education

- Must have experience as a people leader

Additional Information:

Licenses and Certifications:

ANCC - Nursing Professional Development Certification (ANCC-NPD) [Preferred]
