How you'll contribute

A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who excels in this role:

  • The licensed practical nurse performs those functions delegated and assigned by the registered professional nurse or licensed physician.
  • The licensed practical nurse is responsible for administering nursing care, medications and assisting physicians with procedures and monitoring.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of the endoscopy room procedures and equipment.

What we're looking for:

The Licensed Practical Nurse performs a variety of functions. They are responsible for administering nursing care, medications and assisting physicians with procedures and monitoring as designated by the supervising or ordering physician.

Additional requirements include:

Graduation from a school of nursing in practical nursing required

Current VA LPN license required

BLS required within 30 days of hire, or prior to completion of orientation if 30 days before hire
