TheCertified Nursing Assistant- CNA is an essential nursing team member who provides residents with daily nursing care in accordance with the residents assessment and Plan of Care.

+ Review care plans and provide care accordingly

+ Identify and honor resident choices in activities of daily living, while maintaining resident safety

+ Communicate with care staff at all levels to adequately meet the needs of the residents

Requirements

+ Must be active and in good standing on the Maine CNA registry

+ Ability and willingness to work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers, staff, supervisors, residents and their families

+ Must be able to work effectively both independently and in a team environment

+ Requires proficiency in spoken and written English.

+ Ability to understand and respond to residents needs and inquiries in English is required.

+ Ability to effectively understand and communicate verbally and in writing, in English, is required.

+ Basic computer skills
