Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to work at a facility in Martinsburg, PA. This is a registry position with our company.

Pay Rate: $40 / hour
*W2

Shifts Available:
  • 1st 6:30a-2:30p
  • 2nd 2:30p-10:30p
  • 3rd 10:30p-6:30a
  • short shifts 2:30p-5:00p
  • short shifts 6:30p-10:30p
  • short shifts 6:30a-10:30a
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Current 2 step PPD (within the last year)
  • MMR
  • Physical within the last 6 months
  • LPN License
  • License Verification
  • Driver's License
  • Proof they have lived in PA for 2 years
  • Criminal Background within the last 6 months
  • Covid Vaccine Info, if not vaccinated need a religious exemption statement
Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. Perform routine patient assessments and document findings accurately.
  • Administer medications as prescribed by physicians and maintain proper documentation of medication administration.
  • Regularly monitor and record patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse rate, temperature, and respiration rate.
  • Assist with wound care, dressings, and rehabilitation procedures.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information, progress, and assessments using electronic medical records (EMR) or other designated systems.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians, registered nurses, and other members of the interdisciplinary team, to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families about healthcare procedures, medications, and post-treatment care instructions to promote effective self-management and recovery.
  • Follow established infection control protocols, including proper hand hygiene, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and safe disposal of medical waste.
  • Act swiftly and effectively during emergencies, implementing appropriate nursing intervention and alerting the appropriate personnel as necessary.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, ensuring adherence to best practices, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintains compliance and complies with annual requirements
  • Successfully completes required employment-related documentation, testing, and screenings in a timely manner
