Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Medical Assistant responsible for performing duties under the direction of a physician to assist in the examination and treatment of patients.

Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma or its equivalent
- Good telephone communication skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Knowledge of medical procedures
- Knowledge of clerical functions
- Current CPR card (if applicable)
- Current PPD or Chest X-Ray (if applicable)
- Current Health Certificate (if applicable)
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program; certification preferred
- Minimum of one year relevant experience preferred.
- Relevant certification/ license if applicable.
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Position Description: MUST BE CERTIFIED OR REGISTERED TO BE CONSIDERED!
Weekdays; 1:00p - 9:00p with no weekend or holidays
**Please note: first 2 weeks of training will be day shift due to staff availability. Must be able to work this schedule
up to 32hrs
26 weeks
Pay:
Local - $25.50/hr.
Travel (over 50mi) - $975/gross
