Job Description
At St. Luke's, our dedicated team of Registered Nurses are critical in providing exceptional, patient-centered care. We are currently hiring for a Part-Time (0.6 FTE) RN role for Magic Valley Quick Care Clinic!
What You Can Expect:
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly rewarding and engaging RN role in a fast-paced Urgent Care setting! As a key member of the clinical team, the RN will support the delivery of exceptional care by:
Triaging walk-in and scheduled patients to assess acuity and determine priority of care
Assisting with a variety of procedures such as I&D's, sutures, IVs, catheters, nasal suctioning, splinting, wound care, and medication administration
Performing point-of-care testing and supporting lab specimen collection and processing
Rooming patients and preparing them for provider evaluation, including obtaining vital signs and health history
Responding to changes in patient condition and collaborating with providers to ensure timely interventions
Supporting a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous learning
Communicating with patients and families to provide education and follow-up care instructions
Working closely with providers and support staff to ensure smooth clinic operations and patient flow
This role is ideal for a nurse who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys variety in daily tasks, and is passionate about providing compassionate, efficient care during urgent health needs.
Schedule: 38 hour shifts - 1400-2200.
Qualifications
Education: Nursing Degree
Experience: 1 years' experience
Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
