Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
- Administer medications and monitor health conditions as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Help with meal preparation and dietary needs, ensuring nutritional requirements are met.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to hygiene standards.
- Document and report any changes in clients' conditions to the care team.
- Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote mental well-being.
- Collaborate with family members and other caregivers to ensure comprehensive care.
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in caregiving preferred.
- Previous experience in home health care or a related field is a plus.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor, with a strong desire to help others.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required.
- Must pass background checks and drug screenings as mandated by state regulations.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Basic first aid and CPR certification is preferred but not mandatory.
