Opti Staffing Group is partnering with a leading healthcare facility dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Assistant to join their dynamic team.

WHAT YOULL DO:

As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting physicians and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Managing the daily physician schedule to optimize patient flow.
  • Rooming new patients, follow-up patients, and re-evaluation patients with care and efficiency.
  • Preparing and rooming patients actively undergoing treatment for weekly visits with physicians.
  • Obtaining and organizing all relevant medical records and images for each patient visit.
  • Assisting with procedures and examinations, including setting up and disinfecting scopes.
  • Ordering supplies and maintaining adequate inventory in exam rooms.
  • Assigning ICD-10 codes to patient charts and loading prescriptions electronically.
  • Providing patient education on treatments, side effects, and community resources.
  • Obtaining insurance authorizations for special procedures as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Compliance with annual mandatory education and immunization requirements.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a certified medical assistant or similar role.
  • Proficiency in administrative tasks and EMR systems such as Mosaiq and MIM.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
