Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
- Administer medication and monitor health status as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Document and report any changes in clients' conditions to the healthcare team.
- Support clients with mobility and physical exercises as needed.
- Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote mental well-being.
- Follow care plans and communicate effectively with clients and their families.
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in caregiving preferred.
- Previous experience in home care or healthcare settings is a plus.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor.
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Basic knowledge of first aid and CPR is advantageous.
