Operating Room - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Experience:

12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

36 months of Operating Room experience.

Travel experience is required.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Nebraska license or compact license (required after submission).

This role will require floating to multiple units

Local & travel allowed. Candidates living Additional Details:

Required Skills / Experience: 3-4 years of experience as an OR RN

Experience scrubbing and circulating cases

Proficient in ortho cases

Need to be very comfortable with total joint cases

Required Credentials: All HCPs are required to complete CPI training on site unless they are already certified in CPI or MOAB.

Unit / Facility Details: Rural Hospital RN

Since it is a small department, RN may assist with turning rooms and cleaning.

Proof of Identification: Valid state issued Drivers License or ID card

Shift & Scheduling: With Call Requirement - Typically 3-4 weeknights and 1 weekend call shifts within 6 week schedule

Floating Requirement: OR RN will sit in PACU on callback cases as second set of hands. (Does not recover the patient, only assists as 2nd RN in recovery period)

7 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 3 years

1 reference required from within the last 3 years

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

BLS (Basic Life Support)

CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) or the alternative certification MAB
