Hillsborough County Public Schools is hiring School Nurses for the upcoming 20262027 school year. Candidates will provide health services to students in school clinic settings and assist with district-wide nursing coverage as needed.

Position Responsibilities
Deliver nursing services within school health offices
Assist students with medical and daily health needs
Respond to illness, injuries, and emergency situations
Communicate with parents, teachers, and school staff regarding student health concerns
Travel between schools if assigned to float coverage

Position Information
Contract Dates: 8/10/2026 5/29/2027
Weekly Hours: 36.5
School schedules vary depending on assignment
Early release every Monday
Onsite position only
Active Florida nursing license required
RN applicants must hold a BSN
CPR certification required
2+ years of nursing experience preferred
District and AHCA fingerprinting required
