Key Qualifications: Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum of one year of recent PACU or critical care experience Current BLS and ACLS certifications Demonstrated ability to assess, monitor, and respond to a wide variety of patient conditions post-anesthesia Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team Proven record of patient advocacy and delivering high-quality, compassionate care Familiarity with electronic health records and standard PACU protocols Primary Duties: Monitor and manage patients as they recover from anesthesia, including observation of vital signs and addressing potential complications Assess patient pain levels, administer medications, and intervene as necessary to ensure patient well-being Provide clear, concise patient education and collaborate with patients' families regarding post-operative care Maintain accurate, thorough patient records and documentation Support surgeons and anesthesiologists in all aspects of post-operative patient management Respond effectively to emergencies or changes in patient status This contract-based role provides the opportunity to advance your clinical skills in a supportive and fast-paced setting.
