Support administrative tasks such as scheduling, patient communication, and record keeping as needed. Maintain compliance with all healthcare regulations and privacy standards. Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure high-quality patient experiences. Adapt to various service areas including primary care, acute care, and occupational health, providing versatile support to diverse patient needs. Required Skills: Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or Clinical Medical Assistant, with strong proficiency in phlebotomy and lab specimen collection. Excellent clinical skills, including vital signs, patient history, and basic examinations. Ability to work efficiently in a busy healthcare environment, managing multiple priorities. Strong communication skills for interacting professionally with patients and staff. Knowledge of OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols. Competency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and patient safety. Nice to Have Skills: Experience in occupational health, work-related injury clinics, or insurance medical evaluations. Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA). Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations. Preferred Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional medical assisting certification preferred. At least 1-2 years of clinical Medical Assistant experience in a fast-paced setting. Prior experience performing lab draws and specimen processing is highly desirable. Other Requirements: Availability to work Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, with a scheduled 1-hour lunch. The position is temporary, running from May 21, 2026, through July 17, 2026. Ability to work in a healthcare facility that observes holiday closures on May 26 and July 3. Valid healthcare certifications and licensure, if applicable. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform clinical tasks. Must adhere to all safety and health guidelines.
