Our Client, a Healthcare company, is looking for a RN Unit Manager for their Bethel, AK location.
Responsibilities:
Manages the daily operations of the Sub-Regional Clinic (Hooper Bay, AK or Emmonak, AK) to facilitate coordinated patient flow and care through the clinic and other providers, assuring current and accurate medical records, providing information needed to optimize reimbursement for clinic services and furnishing documentation needed by client to effectively manage the clinic. Liaison between Bethel departments and the Sub-Regional Clinic. Responsible for staffing positions.
Requirements:
Must have completed a program of education in nursing from and NLN approved institution. BSN required, MSN or Master's degree in a health care related field preferred.
Minimum of five (5) years of progressive nursing management experience with three years of clinical nursing experience preferred. Related experience considered.
Must be licensed in good standing in the State of Alaska as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN). Current BLS. Will be required to pass and maintain competencies for this position.
Office machines and computers that normally are found in a Medical Outpatient Clinic nursing environment
Knowledge of regulatory agency standards related to health care organizations. Cognitive and technical knowledge required with the ability to manage care across the continuum of care.
Minimum Years of Experience: 2
Certifications/Requirements: BLS/BCLS
