No prior caregiving experience required. This can be a very easy position to qualify for if you meet the basic requirements and are reliable, patient, and willing to learn. Position is available immediately once an appropriate applicant is found and client is comfortable moving forward. Optional medical/dental plan: Kaiser medical insurance = $25/mo Dental = $6/mo $20.25/hour Part-time hours to start (possibly full time) Could be a great job for the right person, as *hours spent actively working can be flexible depending on daily needs* Duties Include Attending medical and administrative appointments Assistance with paperwork and organization Laundry Cooking / simple meal preparation Light housekeeping Dishes Basic errands Help managing day-to-day tasks Transportation assistance Occasional mobility assistance/support Most tasks are straightforward, but occasional light housekeeping may require bending, reaching, and safely maneuvering around tighter areas when needed. Applicant must be physically comfortable with that. Ideal applicant is highly dependable, organized, and comfortable with a fairly active day-to-day routine. Position involves driving, errands, appointments, household tasks, light mobility-related assistance, bending, carrying lighter household items. This role is probably best suited for someone with good energy, good mobility, a positive attitude, and a naturally proactive personality. A positive attitude is one of the most important requirements for this position. Applicant must also take privacy and confidentiality extremely seriously. This position is not a good fit for someone who frequently needs last-minute time off, has frequent scheduling conflicts, or is regularly unavailable during agreed-upon work times. Reliable availability and being fully present during shifts are important. This is not a heavy-lifting position. Client is not obese and no bathing assistance is required.
