In this full-time role, youll work with a small group of students, focusing on their unique health needs. This includes tasks such as administering G-tube feedings, monitoring seizure activity, and regularly updating individualized care plansall within a supportive, collaborative school community.
As a vital part of the educational team, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering daily care and nursing interventions for elementary students with complex medical conditions.
- Administering medication and maintaining accurate health records.
- Monitoring for signs of medical emergencies and responding swiftly.
- Coordinating and updating individualized care plans in collaboration with educational staff and families.
- Supporting educational activities within the classroom, stepping in whenever your assistance can enhance the learning environment.
- Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a nurturing, distraction-free presence at all times.
Were seeking candidates with:
- An active Pennsylvania LPN license.
- Previous experience in pediatric, school, or special needs nursing preferred.
