About Ability Building Community

Since 1956, ABC has been dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities through community inclusion. We provide work support, recreation and leisure opportunities, and independent living services across Rochester and surrounding communities.

What Youll Do

As a Direct Support Professional, you will:

• Support individuals in work, recreation, and daily living activities
• Encourage personal growth and help participants achieve their goals
• Provide guidance and assistance both on-site and in the community
• Help create a safe, engaging, and positive daily experience

• What Were Looking For

  • Valid drivers license (minimum 3 years) and current auto insurance
  • Ability to pass a driver screening and DHS background study
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Basic computer skills
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn

  Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plusbut not required.
