.
Responsibilities:
* Observe residents continuously, noting any changes in their condition, and promptly inform the Supervisor or physician as necessary.
* Accurately receive, transcribe, and execute physician's orders.
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, maintaining detailed electronic documentation.
* Supervise and support other LNAs in accordance with licensing requirements.
* Accompany physicians on resident rounds to address medical needs.
* Administer oxygen, gastrostomy/jejunostomy feedings, and perform wound care.
* Oversee unit operations, infection control, and cleanliness.
* Assist in admissions, discharges, and transfers, ensuring proper documentation.
* Communicate with residents' families to resolve concerns and obtain necessary consent.
* Manage the unit during shifts as directed by the Nursing Supervisor.
* Follow state and federal regulations for controlled medications.
* Assist in new staff orientation and provide ongoing education as needed.
* Evaluate and initiate disciplinary actions for nursing staff as necessary.
Qualifications:
* 2+ years of current LNA experience.
* Willingness to float to different units as needed.
* IV certification preferred.
* Previous travel experience highly preferred.
* Rural/small facility experience highly preferred.
* BLS (AHA) certification required.
* New Hampshire state LNA license or Compact License allowed
