Position 1: Outpatient Surgery OR RN

Setting: Outpatient Surgery / Operating Room (OR)
Shift: 6:45 AM – 5:15 PM (4 x 10s)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) with recent scrubbing and circulating experience in a fast-paced ambulatory surgery environment. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in procedural settings and enjoy supporting diverse surgical specialties while working within a collaborative perioperative care team.

The outpatient setting, weekday schedule, and absence of weekend or call responsibilities help support schedule predictability and work-life balance while maintaining a clinically engaging environment.

Specialty Experience Required

Candidates must have recent scrubbing and circulating experience in procedures including:

• General Surgery
• ENT (Ear, Nose & Throat)
• Plastics
• Orthopedics (spine, sports medicine, hand, podiatry)
• Urology
• GYN procedures
• Breast oncology

Requirements

• Active California RN License required
• BSN required
• Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required
• Recent scrubbing and circulating experience required
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• CNOR preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care within an outpatient surgery setting
• Scrub and circulate for multiple surgical specialties
• Monitor patient safety and maintain sterile technique standards
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and procedural teams to support quality patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow procedural protocols and safety standards

Position 2: Endoscopy / GI Lab RN

Setting: Endoscopy / GI Lab / Outpatient Procedures
Shift: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM (4 x 10s)
Charting System: Epic

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Endoscopy / GI Lab RN to provide patient care in a fast-paced outpatient procedural environment. This role offers the opportunity to support GI and endoscopic procedures while working in a collaborative care setting with consistent daytime scheduling.

Candidates with prior GI/endoscopy experience are strongly preferred, though experienced pre-op/post-op nurses meeting experience requirements may also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure nursing care
• Support GI and endoscopic procedures in an outpatient setting
• Monitor patients and administer care according to clinical protocols
• Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support safe, efficient procedural workflows

Requirements

• Active California RN License required (temporary licenses not accepted)
• BSN required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Prior GI/Endoscopy experience required (pre-op/post-op experience considered)
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Current AHA ACLS certification required
• Current AHA PALS certification required

Schedule & Assignment Details

• 4 x 10-hour day shifts
• No weekends / No call
• First-time travelers welcome if required experience is met
